Gegen diese Aufnahme von den Salzburger Festspielen hat nicht erst die Originalklang-Generation allerhand einzuwenden gehabt. Stilistisch ist sie ein später Ausläufer des klassischen Wiener Mozart-Stils der Nachkriegszeit - und Maestro Karl Böhm hat in der Partitur etliche Striche angebracht.
